Martina starts the show stating ..”Simon isn’t a fan of country music….So far!”

Martina McBride said about Phil Stacey during a rehearsal..”He sounded a little stiff…but at the end…he gave a soulful lick.”
Wow…I am interested…I’ll take a soulful lick!
Next up was Jordan Sparks..Singing a broken Wing…a song by the show’s night host….Martina McBride…
Simon…gave her the word…for the first time…since this season began…he believes that she can actually win…
Afterwards…she was asked…by the show’s host..Ryan Seacrest…if she got nervous..and when…
Jordan stated “afterwards”…
So then she was asked by Ryan…”Now?”…..She answered…”Yes”…then said to herself….”Stop it!”
Next up…third performer….Sanjaya Malakar…..sporting a red bandanna…
Randy…point blank said…”Bland and Boring”!!
Simon said “Horrendous…one of the worst since the beginning of American Idol!”
Simon was told and asked by Ryan…”You never liked him …was it the song…or him?”
Simon then replied that “it was hideous!”
Fourth up…LaKisha Jones
Those Gold Boots she wore with the dress…was too tacky for my taste…
OH OH…”Pitch Problems”….stated Randy
“So what..so what.. you are still brilliant”…replied Paula Abdul…
Simon blurted out..”Like eating a hamburger for breakfast…It doesn’t sit well”..
To the audience…he said…”You are in the back…You can’t hear!”
Up next….Fifth in line….Chris Richardson…
Randy was lost during the song…Paula understood Randy’s point…
Simon said…”what the audience hears and what I hear are 2 different things”…
“Simon hears different things because his head is so big”…stated Ryan Seacrest..
Next up…Sixth in Line…Melinda DooLittle..
Simon wanted to compliement her…but wanted her to lose the surprise…even said she had a little Tina Turner going on for her..
I question Simon on that one!!
Seventh contestant up…dressed like a nerd…Blake Lewis…
Randy just loved…loved…loved…
Paula…had thumbs up too…for Randy
Simon said..”it wasn’t a jumping out of my chair performance..it was just OK” “Ok..Yeah”
My take on American Idol…and the contestants…I rather watch Rockstar!! I can’t wait for season 3!!
